What are some good high speed internet providers that don’t require you to sign up for cable from them?
June 15, 2010
I want to switch my cable to DirecTv, but they don’t have internet in my area. I need to find a different provider. I currently pay $39.95 per month for internet and $45.95 for cable. I’m looking to save some money because it seems kind of pricey for what I’m getting.
I thought Firefox was just a browser. Plus, I don’t want dial-up. I need a constant connection and I don’t think you can get that for free.

Cox(bought out by SuddenLink) and Comcast(this I have now, but have had Cox before in my home state). The only thing about getting cable internet w/o getting the cable is.. that you will have to pay up totwice as much for the internet w/o the cable service. You actually save a little by getting both services.
